This new trend toward online software is definitely going to bring about some major changes for the industry. Sites like Google Docs and Zoho have made it easy for people to create, store and share. Since it's all online, you never have to worry about losing a disk or a hard drive.
Of course, if you can't get on the Internet, you're sunk. But these may be the tradeoffs we face...

Good question. Microsoft software is so expensive. The next time I buy a computer I definitely won't be purchasing Office.
